FlyingAnt Server - Entering your license key

After purchasing the software, you will receive an e-mail containing your license key for the FlyingAnt Server. You will need to insert this in your FlyingAnt configuration file.

The configuration file ("flyingant.conf") can be found within the framework in a folder named "Server" and the corresponding subfolders for each platform. You will need to edit each of the files for the platforms that you wish to support with your CD. To edit them simply use any basic text editor.

In this file, you will need to add two lines in the following format:

username <registered user>
key <product_key>

So for the user "Bob Doe" with the license key of ABCD-EFGH-IJKL, he would add the following two lines to his "flyingant.conf" file:

username Bob Doe
key ABCD-EFGH-IJKL

Once you have done this, save the file (making sure to update the file for each corresponding platform's subfolder as necessary). If FlyingAnt is currently running, make sure you restart it by using the exit URL (http://127.0.0.1:8091/.exit) and restart the application.

Note: Some browsers are known to have caching issues, where you may still see the "FlyingAnt Server Demo" message even after entering the license key and restarting the application. To avoid this, clear your browser's cache and reload the page.
