Problems searching on .pdf filenames

Hi there, we just started using Zoom 3.1 on our intranet site. I'm not sure if I'm forgetting to check a settings box or Zoom doesn't support it. When I search on a filename(test.pdf), it doesn't find it. But if I search on the description of the file, it comes up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Version 3.1 did not support searching by filenames. This is a new feature added to Version 4.0 (released last week). In the new version, make sure "Filename" is selected in the "Indexing Options" tab of the Configuration window, and that "dot" is selected as a "word join character". This would allow you to search by filenames and extensions with queries such as "test*.doc" or "*.pdf", etc.
