  • unable to spider- error "No files found to spider"

Since quite sometime I have not been able to run zoom se and the
    message i get is-

    No files found to spider-
check that the url exists and satisfies the settings in the
configuration window. If you wish to spider from a directory,
check that it ends with a / 'slash'

I tried to uninstall and re-install but same message keeps
    repeating.

I work with both dialup and dedicated lan connection (thru a proxy).

    Require immediate guidance.

    - What is the URL you are trying to spider?
    - Did you try turning on Verbose mode to see if you get more details in the index log regarding why it may have failed?
    - Are you indexing an online web site or an Intranet local site?
    - Check that your proxy configuration is correct. This needs to be specified in Internet Explorer. If the proxy requries authentication, you will need to save the password in IE.

If you continue to have problems, save your index log (File -> 'Save index log to file') after an indexing attempt (with verbose mode enabled) and send this log file, along with your ZCFG file, to us via e-mail. You can find our email address on our Contact Us page.
