Trouble indexing PDF

I have a PDF file which does not seem to have any security attached to it, yet when the indexer runs, I receive the following error:

08:16:19 - [PLUGIN] Processing PDF file http://www.abcxyz.com/pdf/my-file.pdf
08:16:19 - [ERROR] [PDF plugin error] This file is protected by Acrobat Security settings which prohibit content from being extracted.
08:16:19 - [WARNING] PDF plugin failed. File not scanned.


1. The PDF can be opened in Adobe Reader no problem, without entering any kind of user/password.

2. The PDF does not have security attached, as far as I see.


Any ideas of things I can look at?

Open the PDF document in question in Adobe Reader, and then use the File / Properties menu option to view the security settings.

There should be a list called "Document security summary" which will state what is allowed for the PDF.
