zoom_pages.zdat not generated

I'm trying to run the indexer on a site that's used Zoom for some time (v5.0). The spider works through the whole site, no errors, but the zoom_pages.zdat and zoom_titles.zdat data files aren't generated. I've run it several times but it just doesn't create those files. What am I missing here?

You should upgrade to V5.1 as there has been many bugs fixed (http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/whatsnew.html) since V5.0. It is a free upgrade from V5.0 to V5.1.

But I think you are getting confused. The zoom_pages.zdat and zoom_titles.zdat files are not required, nor used, in V5 of the software. These files were generated in V4 of the software, but the files required for V5 are different.

I figured it out. I had upgraded from v4 to v5 a while ago, but apparently hadn't re-run the indexing on this site. The search.asp file was still the v4 one. It's working fine now.
