Force results to fit in a cell

I have placed <!--ZOOMSEARCH--> in a cell/layout cell (in Frontpage). The results expand the cell more then I want. Probably due to long URLs.
Is there a way to force the search results to adjust to a predefind space? I guess I can choose not to show the URL but I want show it.
