strange error code - Allowed memory exhausted

I receive this code when i search something words, but not all words... most of the time the search works, but sometimes i get this code:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 20000000 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 257 bytes) in /home2/ant3nnas/antennasystems-www/search/search.php on line 1555

What does this mean? How do i fix this? Thank you in advanced for any suggestions.
