Category Wise Image

This is Praveen Nair from Aptara corp.

My query is that, we have three categories for this specific product and all these categories have their own cover images. So when the search results appear we need to show the cover image as thumbnail along with the results. Right now i know there is a possibility to add a single image through out the search results. But my concern is to show three separate images for those 3 categories.

You can specify an image for each different page. See this FAQ:
Q. How do I associate a thumbnail with a particular page? (http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/support/faq_plugins_image_layout.html#zoomimage)

This means if you control the content of these pages, you can insert a ZOOMIMAGE meta tag as required.

There is currently no ability to automatically associate an image with all files that belong to a certain category, unless your categories are grouped by file type.
