ZOOMIMAGE and recommended links

I have used ZOOMIMAGE meta tags (2.7.1) on the same pages that I have listed in Recommended links (2.2.11). The image does not appear in the search return for the recommended links list but does appear in the normal page listing.

Is there a way to get the image appear in the recommended links list as well?

Images in recomended links are a V6 feature (http://www.wrensoft.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2895).
