Hello
I've just downloaded the Free Version of V6 and tried it for a while, but I noticed on indexing it generated 8 files. But when I upload them manually to my page, the search.php file is missing. It's not even located in the ouput folder.

Is there something wrong somewhere?

I tried the CGI search but couldn't find the page 404 Error on the results.

Any help would be appreciated thanks

The CGI can be harder to install than a PHP script. So stick to the PHP script initially.

Are you using Vista or XP?

Can you have a look at the log tab after index. Is there any error message of any sort, maybe something about a failed file copy?

Also on the advanced configuration panel make sure you don't have a custom script path specified.

I have a Vista Home

There are no conflicts. Anyway, I have reinstalled it and there it's working again.

The only problem is it only index .html and .htm formats. I have tried to enable my text files in .js and .doc but no luck.

Are these only available in the paid version?

Yes the paid for editions offer many additional file formats (http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/plugins.html).
