highlight.js causes browser crash after loading search link

We are using IE5 and the windows-1252 charset for our webpage the search results comes back correctly and are displayed and highlighted in the linked page correctly but once we navigate or follow any link away from this page the browsers crashes.

We have successfully managed to use the search without the highlight.js so we know it must be realated to this code

Has anyone seen this issue before or can point is in the direction of what could be a solution please contact me.

The highlighting results is a very impressive feature and we would like to get it incorporated into our site.

Can you send us a URL to your web page where this crash is reproducable? Are you using IE 5.0 or IE 5.5? Have you tried it with other browsers and do they work? What do you see when the crash occurs - are there any error messages?

It could also be a conflict with the other scripting on your web page (where highlight.js was invoked). Please provide the above information, and a copy of the related files via e-mail, if possible.
