Hi, I am looking for an alternative to Yider to search the sites contained in my local web directory. Does Zoom only index a single site? Or can I set it to crawl a list of URLS I provide?

Zoom can crawl a list of different sites. Click on the "More" button on the Spider Mode tab of the Indexer. You can even Import a list of URLs from a text file.

I want to search about 250 sites. Is that possible?

Yes. You can import a list of sites to index. Of course there are still limits in terms of the total volume of data that needs to be indexed.

For example, if each of your 250 sites has 5000 pages you are going to have a problem. Your PC will run out of RAM before you can index them all.
