  • Search Statistic question

How do you do get your search statistics on your website?I have checked the Search Logging and re-indexed. How do I find my reports. In the Log Filename box this is there ./logs/searchwords.log. Do I put my own path in there or is that where it goes? Totally confused. Can some help shed some light on this for me?

Have you successfully enabled logging, and generated search statistics on your computer first?

Search statistics are not placed on your website by default, although you can do so, once you have generated them successfully.

First you need to make sure you have enabled logging successfully, see this FAQ:
    http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/support/logging.html

Once this is working (and you have tested a few searches), you can generate a statistics report by clicking on "Tools" -> "Search statistics report" in the Indexer. More information on how to use this in Chapter 2.6 of our Users Guide:
    http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/usersguide.html

When you want to put a report on your website, you simply need to upload the files created (usually in "C:\Program Files\Zoom Search Engine 4.0\statistics\" or the folder you manually specify) using your FTP client.
