Indexing not pickikng up new page

Hello -

I just added a new page to our site and have indexed 3 times copying the new files to the Search folder (where the Zoom files reside).

The new page does not not come up when I do a search for keywords Laser Scanners. Other pages that contain the terms come up, but not this page. I just indexed again and it still is not showing. This is the new page:

I went into Configure and everything looks right there.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi -

I ended up making the site map page the beginning of the search and it is picking it up now.

Didn't have to do that before - wonder why now? Just curious. Would like to know.

Just wanted to update you that I do have it where it works now.

I assume you are indexing in Spider mode.

In this mode, the spider starts at the start point you specify and follows links to your other pages.

So probably you either didn't have any links that lead to your new page (before the sitemap).

OR

You added some new links to your new page, but the indexer didn't see them becuase you were indexing a cached copy of the pages. (caching can be turned off from the Zoom configuration window).
