  • Zoom scheduler not working

    I have Zoom intalled on my desktop machine with XP Home edition with SP2. I also have it installed on my laptop with Windows 2000. The scheduler functions fine on the Windows 2000 machine, but refuses to cooperate on the XP. No error message, no response at all.

    Make sure you have specified a username and password for the user account to run the scheduled task for. Note that the user account you select must have a password. You can not schedule a task for a user without a password (this is a Windows restriction).

    You should also note that when a scheduled task runs under a different user than the one that is currently logged in, you do not see the window when it is running. However, you can check from the Task Manager (right click on the system tray, and select "Task Manager"). If you see a "ZoomIndexer.exe" listed, then this indicates that it is running in the background.
