  • No entry in search field doesn't open the search.htm (JavaScript - CD-ROM)

    Hi,
I implemented your search function in the CD-ROM version (using JavaScript). The tool is great and we are really happy with the results - except one thing:
If the user doesn't insert anything in the search field and presses the search button, an empty page is displayed instead of the search.html containing the text stored in the var STR_NO_QUERY...
How can we fix this problem?

    Thanks,
    Sandra

I have not seen that behaviour. Is the search field the one generated by "search.html", or is it a custom made HTML search form?

Have you made any changes to the script source code? (search.js, settings.js, etc.)

Can you zip up your search files and email them to us so we can take a look?
