Responsive search box code...

Has anyone come up with "custom" responsive search box code? Example: (not my site) http://www.christiantoday.com/

Note how the box changes into just a magnifying glass on smaller screens.

This is really a web design issue rather than a search engine one.

There's various ways to build a responsive web site, from using Bootstrap, to larger frameworks. Most of these designs are built-in to larger Content Management Systems or based off a particular JS framework, so it depends what you are using.
