  • Keywords in greek language problem

    When I put a keyword in greek language I cant' get any result. It returns something like this 'τεχνική'.
    The code page is "charset=iso-8859-7" and the index was created succesfully with greek words. My server works only with javascripts.
    Please can you help me;
    My site is : http://www.iamos.gr

    and the search engine temporaly is in the following location:

    http://www.iamos.gr/search/search.html

    There seems to be a problem with Javascript and iso-8859-7. The browser is unable to encode/decode the query from the URL as required.

    Switch to UTF-8 instead.

    Do this by:
    1.) Changing the charset meta tag in "search_template.html" (or remove the file completely if you haven't made any particular changes to your template and Zoom will create a new one when you re-index in the next step)
    2.) Start up Zoom Indexer, click "Configure"->"Languages" and select "Use Unicode UTF-8". Save your configuration and re-index your site.
    3.) Reload the search page from your browser, make sure it is not loading from the cache (CTRL-F5). You can also confirm it is using UTF-8 by right clicking on the page, select "Encoding" and see what is currently checked.
