Search Results Question - custom tags

Is there a way to add more information to the search results? I would like to add more data returned for each search result. As it is right now the search results show the page title, description, etc. Is there a way to add custom search tags for a result?

For instance I would like the search results to look like this:

Page Title

Page Description

Custom Tag 1

Custom Tag 2
-----------------------------

Look up custom meta tags in the user's guide. As an added bonus you can also search for the custom tags, in addition to displaying them in the results.
