  • Search term isn't highlighted in results

First - I really like Zoom. Installation and setup couldn't be easier.

When I initially installed it and used the default search template, results were returned with the search term highlighted in the default yellow. After much site tweaking (I was nearing the end of a complete site rebuild), the search term wasn't highlighted. I had added some of my site's css styling to the search template.

Thinking perhaps there was a css conflict, I deleted the search template and had Zoom regenerated a new default search template - same results. None of the search terms are highlighted in the results page using the default search template..

Then I thought I might have an encoding issue. All of my pages are encoded in UTF-8 and that's what I specified in Zoom's config.

Here is the website at issue

And the link to the search page.

    Thanks guys!

If looks to me like you might have turned highlighting off from the Zoom configuratrion window.

You can also a few patch levels behind. V6.0 build 1020 is the current release.

      Oops..

Yes - the switch was turned off. My bad All is well and life is good once again.

I am using the Dreamweaver extension version and I just installed it last week. Apparently the DW extension version on Adobe isn't the latest.

Many thanks for a fine product. I'm going to buy a version (using the free version now) for my personal web site.

      Cheers,
