    Default pdfs in zips

Hi guys. I just joined up. I've been recommended to purchase your Zoom software as I'm a part-time web designer and your product gets rave reviews.

I just designed a site where it contains pdfs and pdfs-in-zip files. I did a search on this forum but only found an old thread that answered my question. Here's the question (well, two actually):

Will Zoom look inside zip files and index the pdfs... and are pdf files indexed as part of the feature list?

    Thank you

Yes you can index .ZIP files, .PDF files and .PDF in Zip files.

Then you can search for the content of the PDF in the Zip.

The URL of a PDF in a ZIP file will look look like this,
    http://www.YourSite.com/YourZipFile.zip#Your-PDF-File.pdf

However browsers don't auto-open ZIP files. So when going from the search results to the actual source document, the user would still need to have some ability to unzip the ZIP file in order to view the PDF.

Also note that encrypted PDFs and ZIPs can not be indexed in their encrypted state.

That's just the answer I was hoping for...
