  • multiple search.cgi in task manager

    HI,

    Recently i am having issue with our server.I can see there are multiple search.cgi running in the task manager which is using lot of memory and whole IIS gets hanged.None of my webpages are accessable until i kill all this process.
    Once i kill this process everythind works smooth.

    We are using WIndows server 2003 with IIS 6
    Can you please suggest me something.

    What version of Zoom are you using? You posted this in the V5 forum, are you really still on V5?
    Are the CGI process using CPU time?
    How many searches per minute are you getting on the server (as if the server is under high load it might be possible all the CGI processes are slow overlapping searches being done from real users).
    How much RAM is in the machine?
    Is this a 32bit or 64bit O/S?
    How many pages are in your Zoom index?
