I keep getting numerous duplicates of results from my forum. I thought it was supposed to detect duplicate content and not list multiple results for the same page? Do I have something set incorrectly?

I presume you have already enabled "Duplicate page detection" in the Configuration window, under the "Scan Options" tab.

The problem you should realize is that many forum pages are not actually duplicate pages, despite the content being similar. For example, a listing may be the same page, but it can be sorted by date, author, subject, etc. and each of these are technically very different pages. A page which shows the current date and time is another example.

To index a forum or other similar server-side scripts, you need to do some additional configuring to tell Zoom what to skip and what to index.

Take a look at this FAQ for more details:

You should also note that many forum packages have a built-in search facility which is specially designed to search within the forum.
