Offline CDs with Javascript, and support for searching Word and PDFs

Hi

I am new to this product. I need to create an offline CD with lots of searchable Word and PDFs. I was wondering:
1. Can the Javascript version handle searching these file types (if I have the plugins installed of course)?
2. If not, would I need the Flying Ant server to do this?
3. I need to have the search page and results display in an existing <div> on my page. How would I adapt the ZoomSearch() function to display the content in my <div> and not in a new page or frame?

The Javascript option can't handle large numbers of files. But if "lots of searchable Word and PDFs", actually means a few dozen files, it will be OK.

FlyingAnt is better when you have a large collection of documents.
