  • Unknown var NormalChars when MapAccents=1 in JS SDK?

Heya - when "Enable accent/diacritic insensitivity" is enabled, MapAccents=1, but NormalChars (used in ZoomInitSearch) is undefined in the generated js files. Am I not looking at the right file, or is MapAccents not working for JS output?

Are you actually getting an error with NormalChars, or are you just wondering which file the variable should be defined in?

I am unable to produce any problem with the NormalChars variable using the latest JavaScript.

It is (or should be) defined in the "zoom_index.js" if you're just wondering for your own scripting purposes.

Yeah, that was it - I was somehow using a settings.js file that had MapAccent=1 with a zoom_index.js without it. Thanks.
