  • List of parameters?

Is there a list somewhere of all the parameters that can be passed to Zoom?

I looked in the docs, but didn't see anything.

Just to be clear, I'm talking about:

    zoom_query
    zoom_and
    zoom_xml

    etc.

It is documented (along with other internal details) in the Response Specification as part of the SDK for developers adding advanced functionality to Zoom.

So we have to purchase additional documentation to learn what the capabilities of the product we bought are?

No, we would not recommend buying the SDK if that's all you need.

But if you are intending to add functionality or write scripts to use Zoom within other scripts or programs, then the various other information in the SDK (including the C/C++/C# source code to the CGI and ASP.NET Server Control, the XML response specification and the specifications for the .zcfg configuration files) will be useful.

The HTTP GET parameters are pretty self explanatory and not obfiscated in any way. You can find them listed pretty clearly in the PHP/ASP/JS source code which is also readable.

However, our main product is targeted at end users and the included support is for the designed usage of the product. Just as it's unlikely to find detailed documentation included on how to integrate a particular car engine into another vehicle, when you buy a car.

But by all means, you can get the parameters from the code or the URL with not much trouble.
