  • CGI, ASPX Search Page

I have indexed my site using cgi option. Following that I have created a custom search.aspx page following
the instructions on your FAQ pages. Since I have customised my own aspx page I choose not to generate the
Search Form however with this option; my category list, match and result per page menu do not function.
If I select the advanced option my own form functions accordingly but another form is automatically
displayed on my search page which I cannot hide or customise.

Please advise on how use my own customised form including the advanced options.

    Thank you

I suspect your custom search form just needs some tweaking to be correct. There's no reason your custom search form's category list, match and result per page options should not work.

Can you provide us with the URL to your search page (assuming it is online) and we can take a look? (Best bet is to look at the resultant HTML by right clicking on the search page and "View source" in your browser) and see what's missing or wrong in the HTML.
