  • Only index files within certain folders?

My client wants to only index PDF files within certain folders on his site. I know I can tell ZOOM to skip named folders, but I don't see that I can restrict its searching to named folders. Can I? How would I do that?

You can change the start point to be in the folder you want.

Suppose there are multiple folders within the root of the site? Can I set it to only search within those individual multiple folders? Or would all those folders need to be aggregated under one parent?

You can have multiple start points. Each start point will be the individual folder that you want indexed.

On the "Configure->Start options" panel, in section "2" click the "More" button to add your starting points.
