  • Can Zoom searches be set to specific folders?

Rather than doing a complete site search, I would like to search only a htaccess folder of pdf documents. Can Zoom V6 be configured to do this?

Does Zoom V6 index and search the text content of pdf files?

    Thanks.

The question doesn't really make sense. As '.htaccess' is web server configuration file. It isn't a folder.

But otherwise the answer is yes, you can limit searching.

How this is done depends on if you are using spider mode or offline mode.

For example, if you are doing offline mode, you do this by simply selecting your start point to be in the folder in question. If you have directory listings turned on for your server (or have an index.html files at lists the files in the folder), you can do the same in spider mode.

Yes, the content of PDF files is indexed and searched.
