  • Search words need to be entered twice in Moodle.

I am using Zoom as a search tool for Moodle using the method on this page. http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/support/tutorial_moodle.html The problem is when you enter a search word, it redirects you to another search page where you need to enter it again in order to get the results. Does anybody know how to overcome this?

    This shouldn't be the case.

I presume you are describing the behaviour of submitting a query into a search forms that you have created on one of your other pages (not on the search page).

Where is the search form action= URL pointing to? This needs to be changed as described in the Support page.

Zoom isn't doing the redirect, so if it is a Moodle setting doing a redirect when linking to particular pages, see if there's a setting to make sure HTTP GET parameters are also passed along.
