  • Multiple Output Directories

    We have a scenario where we produce two versions of a HTML based help file. One we publish to a server where it is accessed online, the other is bundled with the product and installed locally. The content is the same for both versions.

    I like the ability to specify more than one Start Page in the Start Options to handle the two versions but it looks like I can only specify a single output directory. OK I know I can manually copy the files from one version's output directory to another but it would nice not to have to do this.

    Yes, copying the files (or just the folder) is the best solution.

    In many cases the index for the online search and the local search would be different. e.g. different scripting option, or different folder names. So the utility in auto copying the index is limited.

      No problem although it would be cool if I had that option. Maybe something to think about for a future release?
