  • Problems after switching servers

    Hi,

I'm a webhost and one of my clients uses this zoom thing, V6 and the CGI version.

I moved him to a newer server and his script doesn't work, gives a 500 error. He says he is using Zoom Indexer version 6.0 pro. The file is encrypted so I can't even see what it is trying to do. It worked just fine on my other server.

What details do you need to diagnose?

Check that the search.cgi file is being handled as a binary executable, your web server may be configured to handle all CGI files as Perl scripts. The Zoom CGI search application however is NOT a Perl script, but a binary executable.

You can also check the following page for common issues when using Zoom CGI, http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/support...gi_servererror
