After Update to V7 some word ".dot" are Faild to scan

after Update to V7 I get a "Failed to scan file:" with some Word .dot files.
With V6 every thing was OK.

What exact version are you using?

With release 7.0 build 1005 we included a new method of indexing .DOC, XLT and PPT files. (and .DOT files are really just .DOC files)

The new method can be up to 100 times faster than the old method, but since its release we have found a few teething problems with it. These will be fixed up in release 7.0 build 1006 (which should be out in a few days).

But if you wanted to send us a link to your .DOT file, we can test it out to make sure it works with build 1006.

Thanks for sending me the sample files.
I was able to index these three sample files without error, using the current public release (build 1005 at the moment).

So can you send me the log files from your indexing session which had the errors. You can save a log from the File menu.
