  • Case sensitive search with "Substring match for all searches"

I use the "Support single-case languages" option for case sensitive search.

It's only working when "Substring match for all searches" is off.

Is it possible to have a case sensitive search with "Substring match for all searches" on ?

    Thanks

    ( v7 build: 1008, windows)

These features should not be inter-dependant. Can you tell us which scripting platform you are using? PHP, Classic ASP, ASP.NET, Javascript, CGI (if CGI, which server OS)?

We've confirmed the bug in the CGI build. It will be fixed in the next release (V7 build 1009).

I've just check and it's the same thing in PHP on v6 and 7.

Is there a way to keep this option separately ?
With the actual bug I can make a search in Chinese with case insensitive for regular alphabet.
After it's fix, if I understand correctly, I will not be able do it anymore.

Thanks for checking, we'll fix it in PHP too.

In the new release, the two options would be separate. So you can have either of them, or both. So this means you will be able to do substring matches with case insensitive as well.
