    Hello!
We are using the ZSE since 2010 and with the launch of the new version 7 we have a question: Is it possible to show at the top of the results the more popular pages for certain query based on the clicks of the users?

For instance: If for a SPECIFIC QUERY / WORD, some result is always clicked by the users, this result should appear first than the other results that are not often clicked by the users.

    Thank you

There is no such automatic feature at the moment. It would require a fair bit of user query logging on the side of the search script (and for it to remain on the server), which uses up hosting storage space and second, it's a feature that has not been in demand.

Having said that, there are ways to manually improve your search results and monitor user queries.

First you can enable search words logging ("Advanced"->"Search words logging") which would give you log files to analyze your user's search habits.

Next you can either generate statistics reports with "Top 10 searches" or "Top 10 searches which return no results", etc. to decide how to improve your configuration.

Then you can add Recommended Links for particular search queries, which will appear at the top of the results for those queries. Or add synonyms for certain words or misspellings.
