  • Using ASP and yet keep getting errors related to ASP.NET

Hi - I need help. I keep getting an ASP.NET error, yet I'm searching using classic ASP. How do I resolve?

I tried reinstalling the application and re-running the indexer and no luck.

Could not load file or assembly 'ZoomASPX' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.

Sounds like you have, at some point, created an index using "ASP.NET" as a selection, and a "search.aspx" file was created in your output directory.

When you switch to "Classic ASP", the files that were previously created in the output directory are not deleted. So if you continue to upload or access the "search.aspx" page, then you will see this error.

You should be able to get around this error by simply opening the "search.asp" page instead of the "search.aspx" page.

And you can delete the old files. Or if you want to be sure, delete all the Zoom related output files in the folder, and THEN re-index with "Classic ASP" selected as your platform.
