  • Core Engine Failures and 7.0.1014

Since upgrading to 7.0.1014 I have not been able to index any sites at all - they all fail with a core engine failure message. I can't see any indications in the indexing process for this failure i.e. no pattern etc. I'm running on Win 8 Pro - on the biggest indexing job ZOOM says it needs 5.5GB of RAM but I've got 13GB free - running on an i7 - so there's plenty of grunt. I've even tried lowering the thread count. Its quite frustrating having to restart the process all the time - in fact I've given up until I can resolve this . Any clues anyone please.

Make sure to update to V7 build 1015:

If you still have any trouble, let us know. Send us your .zcfg configuration file via e-mail (see the Contact Us page or the Support page for email addresses).

We've fixed some internal linker/library issues which should hopefully address these crashing problems. Please try the latest build (V7 build 1016) and let us know if you still have issues:
