Turning off Stemming

Hi

I have stemming on in Zoom Indexer, and I want to keep it on as a default setting. However, one of my users emailed asking whether it is possible to turn it off for an individual search, i.e. if one is searching for a word 'conviction' (as in 'religious conviction') but does not want to see the results dealing with convicted criminals etc.

No, you can't disable it just for 1 search.
You could make a whole new index with it turned off if you really really had to.

Or you could do a negative search. Add,
-criminal to the search terms.
